Explicit Content: A letter from a Desperate Girlfriend

Hi Jakes,

I am struggling to write this letter to you because I am in a state of ambivalence. I wish I had the strength to meet you face to face to tell you these words but I am too enfeebled at the moment. My pillows are soaked with tears. I have had sleepless nights for some time now. I have been crying all night long and I feel very weak as write this.
Jakes, we really need to set things right. Hidden behind the veil of 'love', we’ve been living in sin for too long. Although we both know it’s not right, you always have a way of convincing me that we are good. We have been together for almost three years but you know as much as I do that this relationship is wrong. I have aborted three times for you, Jakes, and I feel sick because of our sins. I battle with guilt and insecurity because my hands are covered with three innocent blood at age 24. I know you may not understand how I feel.

Yes, I remember we agreed on ‘no condom no sex’ after my third abortion, but Jakes, how long will this fornication go on? Until when will we begin pleasing God in this relationship? Truth be told, I am tired of the safe sex. It gives me no joy after we climax. Deep down my heart, I desire safe love instead – the kind that builds my self-esteem and gives me a clear conscience. I want the love that shields and keeps me from my own weaknesses, not the one that exploits my vulnerabilities and leads me on into sin.

I can’t help crying as I write because I love you. I haven’t forgotten how good it felt in your arms, cuddling and kissing. You knew how to touch my soft spots and make me go crazy. You made me happy and you made me cry. Although I feel drawn to you, I want to serve the Lord from now with a pure heart. I can’t share my body between you and God anymore. I have been trying to do that over the years but it has brought me no joy nor peace.

It breaks my heart to say goodbye, my Jakes, but I can’t do this anymore. I want to tell you that I have found a safer and greater love. The love of Jesus is so real. I pray you to find it too.

Truly in Christ,
Kalex Zeeta

    I have learned four things from this letter;
    1.To practice safe sex
    2.To use family planning methods when sexually active
    3. Not to confuse love with sex
    4. God's love is safer than that of man

    1. Great! I didn't teach the first two lessons though πŸ™„. As long as we remain unmarried total abstinence is what God teaches us in His holy word. And it's always prudent to obey God than to follow human philosophy and ideology. Blessings!

    2. There's nothing like safe sex. Sex hasn't been safe outside of it's holy boundaries. If you don't get pregnant because of condom usage, your heart will trained to be a cheat. If you don't get STDs because of condom, your body will craving for multiple sex partners even after you marry. Sex is safe in Christ's boundary of marriage.
